Function of Metformin Hydrochloride

Metformin hydrochloride is a hypoglycemic drug, which is commonly used by patients with type II diabetes. At present, it is the first-line hypoglycemic drug recommended by Chinese guidelines and foreign guidelines. The main pharmacological effect is to inhibit liver glucose output and improve peripheral tissues’ insulin resistance.
